White Roses

© Barbara Haviland
This is an attempt to paint white roses. I am pleased with the roses and the background. For me roses are hard to paint. I will keep trying to capture them. This is why I paint, to get better and better. The challenge is good for you. It is available for your collection. I posted the white roses today because it is a special day. MY HUSBAND IS 6__ YOUNG TODAY. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAM!!

I enjoyed looking at your roses. What size is it? What medium is it? I love flowers too. They make me happy and put a smile on my face. To me, they are like special kisses from God. Speaking of kisses, my husband just turned 60 in May. He drew his first flower in my colored pencil class. He had not drawn a flower since he was in grade school.
Keep on painting. You will get better with each one and learn something new each time. I learn from books, videos I find online, and of course the best is just doing it.
