Gilda's Red Pot Still Life

Fanciful Rooster in oils

Elk at Campground

We stayed at a campround in Earlton,NY in 1999 and I thought the frozen pond was fabulous. I had never seen one before. I put the Elk in the painting.  It was a wonderful time at the campground. Painting is available here in my landscape section of Works.

Case Ranch with Case Tractor and Blue Bonnets

This painting is quite special to me. I recently visited with my cousin and his wife. His brother has a ranch in West Texas and I want to plein air paint there soon. Ernest's wife  Barbara gave me a photo she had taken of blue bonets and wanted a Case Tractor in the paintng. The painting was born and this is the results. I can't wait to go to the Case Ranch.

The painting measures 16"x20" and is done in oils on a stretched canvas

Cheese, Glass and Red Pepper Still Life

I like to do still life paintings. When I started painting I did not like them. I thought they were boring, but now in the last few years I have come to know that they are anything but boring. You can learn so much about colors, shapes,lighting and they are fun to set up  and paint. The one shown here is done in oils and is available here in my still life section.

Bridge in Florida oils

Several years ago, we went to Clearwater to watch our grandsons in a Baseball tournment and I saw this bridge.  It took me a while to finally use my photo but I love the bright colors  and the contrast of the bridge.  Available for purchase here under Landscapes
