A Sunny Day

A Sunny day in the bayou is done in oils and on a stretched canvas. I did this painting from my photos. I was trying to show the water to look like glass. The water when it is still gives a mirror effect. I hope I have achieved that.

My Red Sketchers, Shoes

Strawberries in a Glass Jar

This is my version of Stawberries in a Jar. I set this up and painted it from life.  I love doing still life paintings. I think I am doing better and better at "seeing".  I am trying to paint what I see not what I think I see.  That is a challenge in itself. LOL
