The painting was done from photos of a local park here. There are 5 bridges in the park and I have done 2 of them so far.

This painting was inspired from my photos. It is framed in an old barn yard wood frame. The cypress tree is draped with spanish moss and the lotus flowers are yellow. The price does include shipping and the frame.

I love alligators. I found this one at Gator Country and he made a lovely oil painting. i did the painting in oils and on a canvas panel. The canvas panel that I make is a luan panel and I glue my canvas on the hard wood surface. I love this surface to paint on. The painting is available here on my web site under Animals. I am posting the Alligator painting today because I like it and today is the day for Gator Country to come to the Texas Artist Museum to see the kids. They should learn lots of info on the gators of Southeast Texas.

This is one orange pot sitting on an adobe green window. I did this painting this week and it has orange and red flowers growing up the wall. A lovely window with a green shudder frames the orange pot. This building has a texture to it. It is available for purchase. I have several color of hibiscus in my yard. I paint them often. This one is done with a painting knife. I used reds,white,and greens with some yellows. It is available for you.

I remember the first time I ever saw Aspen trees. I thought they were so beautfiul with their "white" trunks. They are not really white but they sure look like it. The painting has snow falling too. This is a very simple but effective painting. The painting is 16"x12" and is done on a stretched canvas. Barbara

This is one of my miniature "White" flowers. I have done a series of miniature white flowers. Each one is done in oils and on a canvas panel that my husband and I make. The Magnolia measures 8"x6" and is available here for you.
We take a thin Luan panel and he cuts what size I need. We then sand it some and I glue my canvas on the surface. It is light weight and I use it for Plein Air and small subjects.

This is another fast Alligator painting for ArtSmart in July. We have a real surprise for the kids the week we are doing Alligators. Can you guess?? Send me an email. This gator was found swimming in a bayou near me. I find alligators very fascinating and have a wonderful collection of them.
